Parents, get ready to level up for an exciting new school year! Join us for the Kittrell Elementary Back-to-School Bash on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, from 5:00–7:00 PM.

This is a great opportunity to meet teachers, connect with other families, learn about school programs, and get ready for an amazing year ahead. We’ll have fun activities, important information, and plenty of opportunities to start the year off right!

Summer Recreation at Kittrell Elementary

Rutherford County Summer Recreation will be held at Kittrell Elementary School from June 8–July 30, 8:00 a.m.–12:30 p.m.

This free program is open to ages 5–18 and includes breakfast, lunch, sports, swimming, crafts, and more.

Registration begins in person on June 8.

The 2026 RCS Summer Meal program starts June 2 and any child under 18 can participate. Breakfast and lunch will be available June 2-July 24 with curbside and dine-in options available. For ages 18 and up, breakfast is $2.50 and lunch is $4.25 (exact change only).
